What is EMA?

​

Ducklings is proud to be working collaboratively with the Milton Keynes City Council EMA team to help provide enriching early childhood education and support for the thriving diverse communities around us! 

EMA, which stands for ethnic minority achievement,  are experienced in supporting pupils of black and minority ethnic heritage (BME), INCLUDING English as an additional language (EAL), who are newly arrived, asylum seekers or refugees, as well as pupils of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller origin. 


 

What does the EMA team do?

The EMA team are the experts for settings and schools, and draw in the expertise of multiple providers in addressing their needs. The team interprets and shares local and national initiatives which are aimed at closing attainment gaps. 
 

The EMA offer a traded service to schools and settings. For information about services and costs, email the EMA Network. By becoming a part of the traded service, you will automatically have access to the secure section on the EMA webpage.

  • Supplementary schools
